Thank you for your interest in raising money for Honor Flight Michigan.
We appreciate you and your organizations help and support which allows Honor Flight Michigan to continue our work.
The cost to send ONE - WW II Veteran to Washington D.C. to visit their Memorial is $350.00. This includes air fare, bus transportation, meals and all other expenses associated with the complete one day round trip.
Your group can conduct a fund raiser to send ONE Veteran or as many as your group can. We appreciate all the support organizations like yours provide to Honor Flight Michigan.
In order to sanction your fundraiser as an "Officially Honor Flight Michigan" fundraising event and to add your event to our state wide calendar, we ask you and your organization and any representatives or volunteers involved with the event adhere to the following guideline:
- Print and complete the Fundraiser Registration Form and Agreement and fax it to 248-399-5636 or e-mail to melin002@aol.com.
- Include the "Official Honor Flight Michigan Logo" and the HFM Official Fundraising Event logo on all advertisements, signs, posters or web listing publicizing your fundraiser. (Digital copies of all logos and artwork are available by sending an e-mail request for .jpg or .pdf files to timd@honorflightmichigan.com or call 248-541-4388).
- Conduct the event in a manner that will reflect positively on Honor Flight Michigan and all the WWII Veterans. Please be mindful that all activities and events associated with your fundraising event are of high moral character and do not reflect negatively on any individuals or originations.
- All Proceeds gathered from fundraisers soliciting as benefiting Honor Flight Michigan must go exclusively to Honor Flight Michigan. Proceeds should be forwarded to your event coordinator (Honor Flight Board Member ONLY) that will be appointed as your contact person at HFM. Proceeds should be delivered within 48 Hours of completion of event in check form (made out to Honor Flight Michigan) or cash delivered to your coordinator.
- Try to involve actual WWII Veterans as it ad authenticity to your event.
- Honor Flight Michigan will support your event with participation including promotional items and flyers, advertisement, event calendar listings on our web, give-a-ways and any other opportunities our budget allows.
- Please be advised that Honor Flight Michigan assumes no responsibility or liability in any form or manner that arises from your event.
- Please be advised that Honor Flight Michigan by cooperating and endorsing your fundraising event accepts no responsibility for any financial liability arising out of any cost or expenses in putting on your event or any cost incurred through subsequent events, lawsuits or litigation arising as a direct or indirect result of your fund raiser.
